Nine races at the Big A with no feature. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will attack his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
NY bred maidens go 1M and all of these runners will struggling through the lane. The entry is where I landed as (1A) BIG EGO has some speed and that should play a roll in softening up any other speeds. The instructions will be to go fast early and try to bottom out this field. If all else fails, his entry mate, (1) NEPTUNE BEACH is possibly the only one in here that has shown they can come late in the game. A nice one, two punch at 4:1ML in this MCL event.
We'll use (2) Findaname and (5) Allofasuddenlee underneath for the exacta
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Exacta Box 1, 2, 5 Cost $ 18.00
We'll use (1) Neptune (1A) Big Ego in R3 and try to cash in on the Double in R4
(1) Calling An Audible and (7) Purpose look solid in Race 4
$ 7.00 Double 1 w/ 1, 7 Cost $ 14.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
(6) THE MONOPOLY MAN dropped to this level last time and didn't get away smoothly, which probably cost him. He still managed to collect a check and now goes out for a new barn today. Manny sticks with him, so I'll include him as well. I like two others a little more as both drop in for a tag this time. (2) AL AMEED is with a hot barn while hitting 50% in the money. The jockey is at 60%. They can try to steal it as he has some speed. (7) PRINCE OF TRUTH is the pick as Rice puts him where he belongs and adds Carmouche to the mix. They likely stalk and come with a late surge.
$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Exacta Box 2, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00
Race 8:
(1) UNCLE JIM is hard to get past in the pp's. Cox and Franco have been teaming up lately, and they give this City Of Light a breather against this group. They add L1 and cut him back to what he likes to do, sprint. I'll include two others. One with speed and the other that comes late for a piece. (6) JERRY'S OUT will try to bottom them out. If they leave him alone, he's got a shot. (4) TAPWRIT'S TEMPER will try to close in late. He has picked his game up in the last few months, and sprinting is his choice.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Exacta 1 w/ 4, 6 Cost $ 14.00
Race 9:
(7) MARY IN THE IRONS was an okay 4th in her debut and followed that up with a big bullet. Most improve 2nd time out, and she gets a dry track today. (6) TALE OF THE TAIL is collecting checks at this level; she just needs to find the right field. Maybe it's today. (9) TOWER TWENTY TWO may try to steal this too. She was close at 7F and then faded. I'm not convinced she can get this 1M. I landed on the Rudy runner (2) FRANKIE HICCUPS. They give her L1 today after she threw in the towel early in her December race. Prior to that, she showed some interest and was a good 2nd against much better. She gets a breather today. Pun intended.
