The G3 Toboggan is the feature at Aqueduct as the track starts to dry out. I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Race 3:
(2) Gut Feeling will take a lot of action as he is the main speed and posted a big figure last time. Prior to that, he was just ordinary. I’m thinking that number is too high and he’s not that faster than these. I can’t ignore the move Rudy makes by putting Franco up on (3) ACHILLES HEEL. They claimed him two back and gave him a race at this level. He ran even around the track that day and was only beaten 4 lengths. Now he gets the upgrade to Manny and two turns. He saves ground and tips out for the drive home.

This looks wide open to me as (2) PIRATE RICK wheels back on 6 DAYS rest. There isn’t a whole lot of speed signed on here so Cash may have seen that and gives it a try. (7) MILTON THE MONSTER gets Manny and has a big win last time for the new barn. Both (3) DRAFTED and (8) LITTLE VIC exit the Gravesend where they were a nose apart. Which ever one works out the best trip today will be the danger

Race 8:
(4) ROYAL CURRENCY has been sharp in her last two. She will get some speed up front to close into. A dry track today and Davis returning makes the gal the filly to beat. (3) FANCY FELINE has been a mystery as she started her career with some promise. She finds a soft field and Lezcano gives her a try. We’ll focus on just these two to get by.

Race 9:
(10) MAKER’S CANDY stretches out and loses some weight. He has some speed and Gomez will use it to establish the lead or just off it. Adds L1 for this as well. (3) BOURBON CHASE has been knocking on the door in all four starts. It’s Pletcher and Davis and is a must use for me. (5) FACTUALLY CORRECT is the other speed. The 1M is the only issue for me. He seems to back up before the wire and they were all at shorter distances. (9) WYNN GIANT is the interesting one. He made up a lot of ground last time and he picks up Franco for this. He has improved each race out and expecting a big run from him today.
