Race 3:
Other than Hydra, who’s beating up on weaker foes, no one in here wins that often. It’s been hard to back a Persaud runner through out the years but (5) HAPPY SOPHIA may have found the right group. We also have to get pass the Luzzi affect as he doesn’t win much on this circuit either. They both teamed up on this mare to score an easy win vs 25k. She seems to be holding form right now and drops again from NW2X. I think we’ll get all of the 6:1ML in this spot.

The Bold Ruler is where I’ll look for the winner of this one today. At the top of the list is (7) RUNNINSONOFAGUN. He just got up while racing wide and may have to do the same with his outside draw. I can’t ignore the switch to Irad on (6) FACTOR IT IN. He was getting to the winner last time he just didn’t time it right. They should get it right today. (2) JAXON TRAVELER never got comfortable in that same race and just threw in the towel. If Lezcano can get away cleanly, they just might catch him down cycle. She beat her non the less.

Race 9:
Rosario flies in for this. He must have liked what he felt under him as (6) MOONEY LOVE won very easy at the Spa first time in this Country. The 12:1ML seems a bit high and I doubt we get that but he is not facing the toughest G2 competition today. (9) SOLDIER RISING was trying to get to War Like Goddess but who can? A Re-Pete of one of his last three puts him right there. (3) BALTHUS has been gaining momentum for Brown and is probably figuring this game out. His last was his best yet and he figures to keep improving. Today might be his coming out party (8) TEMPLE can run all day and the switch to Castellano makes him dangerous in here.

Race 10:
I thought about singling the rail runner, (1) MARIACHI, as he jumps off the page with an above average speed figure for a maiden debut. I guess a similar effort will be enough as D’ont Lose Cruz race well again yesterday. However, I can’t let the two Laoban firsters beat me and I’ll include them. Both (9) CLEVER and (10) EAST COAST GIRL have some fast breezes and gate drills that indicate they may be ready to roll.
