The boys from NY go 7F in this Say Florida Sandy, and I'm not convinced Mama is that much better than these at 1:1. He prefers going longer, so I'll try to beat him. (3) LOCKE AND KEY comes in great form and just beat open company runners last time. His speed figures are good enough, and this distance is right up his alley. Doc should put enough pressure on early to set this guy up for a nice finish.

(7) SPLASHY is only 1 for 14 and most of that is on the turf. Rice calls on Jose instead of Cancel so she must be feeling up to this 7F sprint as her speed figures match most of these. (6) GRAMMY GIRL is sharp and is the one to beat. She took some time off after the Spa and it has paid off with back to back efforts that win this today. Kendrick is called back and they won two back when they teamed up. I like a price as (4) LOOKS FIRST is cutting back from two turns to one. Her maiden run will be strong if she can find tha race today.

Race 8:
(8) BARON OF SEALAND ran well last time, beating maidens rather easily. Leo returned yesterday and validated that effort with a nice win of his own. Baron found the right group today. (7) BOSS THREE O TWO is getting L1 for Dutrow, who is sending them out live these days. He gets some pace to close into today, so watch him late. (6) SENEGAL is one of those speeds that will try to shake loose, and (2) HE HAS IT ALL will try to stalk and get the jump on the closers.

Race 9:
(7) WAJDA figures to be strong in this finale. Rice plays this claiming game well and gives the keys to Jose. A must use. (9) DANGEROUS DRIVER is my choice to try and beat Wajda. He wakes up every so often and runs a good one. I'm guessing today is that time and avoids trouble from way out there. Both (2) SHAKIN THE BELLE and (4) DIABOLICO have shown speed and either can shake loose and try to steal this one.
