The winter meet continues with only 7 races at the Big A. No feature as I will be condensing my plays down to just the number and attacking the early double starting in R2 (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 3-5). Race 3:
Grace Reformed will attract attention but I question the competition she's been facing. I want to take a shot with a price. (2) AMY'S LIGHT was away a little tardy last time and was running well late. They switch the jockey and try this 1M again. She has been running with several of these and has finished in frnt of them on occasion. A ittle moisture won;t hurt this Central Banker and the price is nice.

Race 5:
(1) TABEGUACHE and (3) YO DADDY are the two I'll use. Yo Daddy has the advantage with his speed and can control it. Tabeguache has to try to catch him. Jockeys will decide this.
Race 6:
(1) NATURAL HARBOR is from the Cox barn which is going well right now. Manny takes the controls again and figures to be aggressive from the rial. His last two fades are leaning me towards the two closers though. (5) COMMERCE COMET is the main danger as he just got past Harbor last time but also has to contend with (3) ROYAL TRYST late. He just missed for this barn who claimed him two back. More of the same today.

Race 7:
(8) VERY SATISFACTORY cuts back to the one turn, 1M distance and may have the lead early. That's always an advantage at this level. (4) LIMITS OF POWER threw in a dud last time but I expect Pletcher to have him ready this time. (6) TAPARINO was gaining last time with Coa up and he returns today. (7) PRAIRIE DUNES ran ok last time and has shown improvement each time out after the claim back in November. The switch to Lezcano is what I like here. He can make up the extra lengths this gelding needs to get by this group.
