Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

A handful of runners have signed on for today's Affirmed Success. (1) NY TRAFFIC has dominated when he faced his fellow NY Breds and contnues to work hard in the morning. A salty group but, he appears to be slightly better than these. We'll settle for the cold exacta with Bank of Shea coming late. What I'm interested in is cashing in on a double play. A firster out of an Elusive Quality mare, (6) Lola Lola looks live to me and Weaver puts his filly (9) See Me Now on the grass after a nice debut run.

$ 15.00 Ex 1 w/ 4 Cost $ 15.00

$ 7.00 Double 1 w/ 6, 9 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

Atras claimed (6) WINNING DRIVE two back and got very aggressive by putting him in the Dads Cap next out. He ran into a sharp No Salt that day and he returned yesterday with another big run. If the 7:2 ML holds, I may have to dip into the 401k for this one. (5) SICILIA MIKE goes in and out of form and this 8yr old looks to be in right now. He should follow Winning Drives move. Pace will ultimately be the difference for the top two. (2) MONTAUK DADDY may have a slight advantage though. He has speed and the other speeds look a little cheap. If he can control the fractions, they might find it hard to reel him in.

$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 6 w/ 2, 5, 6 Cost $ 12.00

Race 8:

It's been awhile since (5) ROYAL MEGHAN has seen the winners circle, but she looks to be improving with every start. Her best race came when Jose was up back in January and he shows up today. With a lack of speed in here, Jose may try a different tactic and clear off lke she tried last time. (2) CUSTOMEREXPERIENCE cuts back slightly and has been as consistant as ever. Franco rides her for the first time but she hasn't handled Big Sandy as well as the other tracks. The outsider looking in is (3) FLASHNDYNAMITE. She wins 33% of the time and cuts back to this 7F distance today. She clearly needed her first two starts after a long layoff as Carmouche has a win on her.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 2, 5 w/ 2, 3, 5 Cost $ 12.00

Race 9:

They finally get to put (4) RAW COURAGE on the grass. She started her career this winter and instead of shipping her out, they kept trying dirt. This Declaration Of War needs the turf and Davis takes the mount. All systems go. (5) BOX OF JOE drops and gets a new surface as well. Maker and Castellano team up as this guy has the highest figure of this group. I'll pass on the others that have run and include two first time starters. Both (2) KARMA'S WARRIOR and (7) MIZTERTONIC come from sharp outfits and are bred to like the grass. Both get L1 for there debut.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 4, 5 w/ 3, 4, 5, 7 Cost $ 18.00
