We have a stacked 13 race card, with NINE Stake races; which we will have each of those races covered! I will be focused on an early Stakes double (Races 3 & 4), as well as a spot pick 3 (Races 6-8). Big Pete will have his "Play of the Day" on Race 5 and be locked in to take down the late pick 3 starting with the Belmont Stakes (Races 11-13). The three that will take money will be tough today. But this 12F is not for everyone. (9) RED ROUTE ONE is a Gun Runner out of a Tapit Mare. Distance will not be a problem. The main contenders will likely go at it. Red will just sit and wait for Rosario's signal and this plodder will grind it out. The 15:1 ML is too high and this guy should at least hit the board. If the others cancel each other out, this guy will be the beneficiary.

(4) Elite Power has been dominate since breaking his maiden and returned this year with a bang again. He's a must use. (6) FEARLESS is he strange one entered here. Cuts back sharply for Pletcher/Saez and that's what he most likely wants to do. He should hit the board at least at this 15:1 ML.

(7) LIFE CHANGER was a nice 3rd last time out to Met Mile contender Repo Rocks in the mud. He gets a dry track today. (1) American Law finished right in front of Lefe Changer in that same race. They both should duke it out again.

I can't get past (1) CHEZ PIERRE in this G3 Poker at 1M. He is coming off a dominate win in the G1 Makers Mile at Kee and looks primed to Re-Pete. The danger is probably right next door as (2) Emaraaty has speed and there's not much signed Jose will take him as far as he can.

(8) UP TO THE MARK has been lights out since the move to the turf but now he faces the big boys today. He'll get bet hard and is a contender but we need to take a shot against. I don't think we'll get the 5:1ML with the Appleby runner (3) WARREN POINT. If we're anywhere close, send it in. 10F is a better fit for this Dubawi and I'm expecting an improved effort now that he's been here for some time training. (5) SOLDIER RISING beat Warren in the Man of War last month and is expected to compete again today.

Race 12:
The TAPIT's are built for this race. (2) TAPIT TRICE is fresh and training well. A short feild and wide turns will work in hits favor and will be a threat late. The "other" Tapit cannot be overlooked. (1) TAPIT SHOES has been quietly improving with every start. It's no surpirse that his best effort was when he stretched out to 9F. The 12F today is what he wants and is a price with the hottest jockey at Belmont. A lot to like at 20:1 ML. I think Cox has been pointing to this race all year with (8) ANGEL OF EMPIRE. He too has improved when they let him go longer. Too many obstacles in the Derby to overcome and still managed to climb into 3rd. Clear sailing today as he'll build momentum around Big Sandy and reel them in late. I don't think (6) FORTE wants to go this far and the problems he's been facing is probably too much to over come. I'll try to juice up the exacta and include (9) RED ROUTE ONE to pick up the tired horses late and hit the board.

Race 13:
We close the show with a State bred Alw on the turf. (2) LET'S GO BIG BLUE gets L1 and is working well for his 2023 debut. (1) SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS is the horse to beat as Brown and Irad have this gelding in great shape for his turf debut. If he takes to it, he wins easy. (3) CLEAR CONSCIENCE beat One Headlight last time and that one returned to win the other day. He faces winners for the first time but Manny sticks and is expecting to improve. (10) SHPILKES is the interesting one. Both turf starts are his best as he ships in under the radar but attracts Jose. He meets fellow NY Breds for the first time and is worth a shot at the 8:1ML.
