Big Pete's "Play of the Day":

Race 3:

Abreu has two in here. They both exit the same April 30th race with Two For Charging finishing ahead of (2) PATRICK THE GREAT. I’m looking for Patrick to rebound after a tardy start and out finish his stable mate. He was bet heavy that day and I’m expecting more speed today. Irad returning is a good sign that they mean business today.

Both (5) Price Discipline and (6) Two For Charging look solid underneath.

$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00

$ 7.00 Exacta 2 w/ 5, 6 Cost $ 14.00

We’ll also use Patrick The Great in R3 and try to cash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.

(2) Anejo and (4) Troubleshooter look solid in the 4th

$ 7.00 Double 2 w/ 2, 4 Cost $ 14.00

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:

Race 7:

(4) CHRIS AND DAVE won fresh off the Atras claim. He jumps up slightly in hopes that he can carry that momentum. He rarely puts two race back to back so I will try to beat the favorite. (5) SUPREME AURA has a race or two that matches up well with this bunch. I like the move to the more aggressive Jose in this spot. Look for him to come out running and forget to stop. (3) LOST IN ROME fires every now and then. He too switches riders and new connections who are quietly having a meet at least hitting the board.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 5.00 Ex 4, 5 w/ 3, 4, 5 Cost $ 20.00

Race 8:

I’ll lean on the two Euro’s in this short field (6) MARITIME WINGS has been solid at this 7F distance and picks up Johnny V. (7) ASYMMETRIC has Irad and Ward won yesterday with a runner stretching out slightly. His worktab has been steady for his 2022 debut. With the filly out, (1) CHANCEUX may have the front all to him self. Prat will likely go fast early to grab control and hope the others fall asleep. The sleeper in here (2) HIGH FRONT. He figures to sit chilly while saving ground and then wait for Franco’s signal.

$ 7.00 WPS 7 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 6, 7 w/ 1, 2, 6, 7 Cost $ 18.00

Race 9:

(6) SIX MINUS looks to be the one to beat. I’m not a fan of these Gulf shippers but Pletcher is tough on this circuit. I’ll defensively and try to beat him with (5) NOT YET CHARLIE. He’s tries turf but was facing better. Out of an Elusive Quality mare, Charlie won’t mind stretching out on this course. With Saez taking the call, this guy looks live to me and worth every penny of his 8:1 ML. (1) FRONT MAN most likely needed his last as he closed a little before tiring. With only 2 wins, he’s hard to put on top but he does have races in his pp’s that win this race. (4) CORKMAN is interesting as he tries turf and stretches out. He has numbers that make him competitive if he takes to the lawn.

$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00

$ 3.00 Ex 5, 1 w/ 1, 4, 5, 6 Cost $ 18.00
