(3) O’TROUBLE comes back to NY and makes his 2022 debut. Gomez gives him a weight advantage and there are many races in his lines that stack up well with this bunch. Not a lot of win type runners in here so 4:1 seems worth the shot.
Both (1) Air Show and (6) Forever Wicked look like the competition.

Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
(4) EQUAL PAY has been on everyone’s radar since she dumped Irad mid stretch with a big lead. She finally lived up to that, three races later. Not sure what was behind her but today she faces some gutsy fillies and mares. We’ll include but try to beat her with (9) HONEY MONEY who continues to improve this year. Her last race appears slow but she did it without that much encouragement. I like her right back and any left over moisture will seal the deal. (1) FROST BREW is a bit of a stretch but she has faced much better fillies than these and picks up Rosario. Frosted loved Big Sandy and the 7F looks perfect for her stamina.

Race 8:
(3) ROYAL FLAG has a major class advantage with this group but it is her 2022 debut since the Distaff. There also seems to be enough speed for her to close in. We’ll use defensively and try the now filly (6) MAKE MISCHIEF. She was just ok when facing decent company but has come back a new lady this year. She drew off to an easy gallop and did it nicely. A similar effort will give her a shot today. (5) ZAAJEL is hot and cold but I’m expecting the hot one to show up and she’s a price that can’t be ignored.

Race 9:
We’ll spread out here in the finale. (3) LUNI SIMA has a win and a2nd place finish in two starts this year for Walder. The extra distance will only help. (8) BRACIOLE has two nice runs under his belt and gets the acid test today. I trust Pletcher to have him up to the challenge. (9) BOSSMAKINBOSSMOVES gets the jock upgrade and has been getting close with every start. The stretch out is what he wants and gets today. (1) FULL MOON FEVER usually makes a decent run to threaten. Davis sticks around and they should save some ground.
