We have a nice 9 race card at Belmont Park with this summer-esque weather and we will be looking to cover the card. I will be condensing my plays to just the number and will be taking down the early double (Races 1-2) and a middle pick 3 ( Races 4-6 ) . Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 ( Races 7-9 ). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
(6) MAGNIFICENT CHROME may fly under the radar with the connection having a tough start to the meet. But Chrome has shown some big improvements facing better company in his last two. With speed inside of him, they can set up shop in the 2nd flight and stay clear of the others for an easy trip through the lane
Both (1) Manolito and (3) Brilliant Brooks look like the competition.
$ 7.00 WPS 6 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Exacta 6 w/ 1, 3 Cost $ 14.00
We’ll also use Magnificent Chrome in R3 and try to crash in on a DAILY DOUBLE play.
Both (3) Merger of Equals and (4) Lindsay’s Laugh look solid in the 4th
$ 7.00 Double 6 w/ 3, 4 Cost $ 14.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
Speed has been kind on the Belmont lawn to start this Spring meet. For that reason, I’ll start with (1) FAUCI to take control early and make them try to catch him later. The shorter distance will help and it is Jose up . The two main players will likely battle it through the lane if Fauci gives it up. (2) ARTEMUS CITYLIMITS will get the first jump as he has some speed to stay close early on. Two of his wins have come on this course. (5) MAXWELL ESQUIRE is the class of the bunch so if he comes to play fresh off the layoff, he’ll be the threat late with Irad.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 1, 5 w/ 1, 2, 5 Cost $ 12.00
Race 8:
(2) KEY POINT came back strong after a long vacation and now stretches out to 7F. The race seems to set up his late kick with all the speeds to his outside. A possible single if you’re interested in that. The only other I’ll include is the outside runner (7) MONTEBELLO. He could shake loose if the other speeds fall asleep. Prat can nurse him along and adds L1.
$ 10.00 Ex 2 w/ 4, 7 Cost $ 20.00
Race 9:
We’ll spread out here in the finale. (3) PAVE MY WAY switches back to turf as both Noda and Irad are off to fast starts. (4) ROYAL DANCER wants grass and distance. She was moving in the right direction last time, just got on track too late. (7) OUT OF SIGHT couldn’t last last time and will likely try that tactic again. (8) CAPE COD CAUSEWAY was sharp in her return from a brief freshening. The move to the wide turns at Belmont for this Creative Cause may help keep her momentum. (14) FROSTY INVASION has been waiting to switch surfaces and stretch out. The fact that this is Saez’ first choice and they are 20:1 ML makes this a no brainer to include.
