It's Breeder's Cup Juvenile Day at Santa Anita. We have plays at each track. I will be looking to take down an early double (Races 1 & 2) and have an opinion on 3 of the Breeder's Cup races. Big Pete will have a "Play of the Day" and be looking to take down the late pick 3 (Races 8-10) at both tracks. . We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day" at the Big A:
Race 3:
Only five entered but you can make a case for all of them. Tizzy In The Sky won on the front end last time which makes her dangerous as lone speed. Morning Matcha ships in and usually hits the board. I landed on the rail runner (1) BELLAMORE in this spot. She faced slightly better all year long and is working fast in the AM. The 9F fits her well and she figures to save some ground.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 2, 4 Cost $ 14.00
We’ll also use (1) Bellamore in R3 and try to cash in on a Daily Double.
(7) Shasi or (8) Bustin Hot in the 4th.
$ 7.00 Daily Double 1 w/ 7, 8 Cost $ 14.00
Little Pete's Spot Pick 3 at the Breeder's Cup:
Race 5:
I landed on four horses in here with my top pick pick being (1) Crimson Advocate with Johnny V aboard. We should expect this horse to shoot from the gate in this 5 furlong sprint and find that early rail position towards the front of the group. I also think (2) No Nay Mets sets up shop right to her outside early and has been maintaining consistent growth each time out. (8) Cherry Blossom is going to make there move around the turn early and will be fanned out wide to try to pass them all. The price horse I am looking out for is (10) Valiant Force who is making their stakes debut but already has a major upset under his belt. These horses are all going to be running their best down the stretch and choosing only four horses is always a challenge.
$ 3.00 WPS 1 Cost: $9.00
$ 2.00 Ex 1, 2 w/ 1, 2, 8, 10 Cost: $12.00
$ 1.00 Ex 8, 10 w/ 1, 2, 8, 10 Cost: $6.00
Race 6:
(7) Tamara dominated 11 rivals in that G1 Debutante. She looks poised to do it again. Money Mike just has to hang on. (12) Just F Y I is all the chatter with his morning works leading up to this. The post won't help but the two turns for this Justify could offset that outside draw.
$ 3.00 WPS 7 Cost: $9.00
$ 5.00 Ex 7 w/ 1, 11, 12 Cost: $15.00
Race 7:
(6) Porta Fortuna comes in with a resume that should dominate this group. The stretch out to 1M should not be an issue. I can't endorse any of the US based fillies so it's all Euro's for me. I am also keen on (11) She Feels Pretty in here to be able to find a stalking position early and wait for the lane to open up late to the inside and make it interesting.
$ 5.00 WIN 6 Cost: $ 15.00
$ 3.00 Ex 6 w/ 9, 11, 12 Cost: $ 9.00
$ 1.00 Ex 9, 11, 12 w/ 6, 9, 11, 12 Cost: $ 9.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3 at the Breeder's Cup:
Race 8:
Baffert looks loaded. Two turn experience, his home track and sharp races leading up to this. Of the three, (10) MUTH is the one I like the most from his barn. Good Magic/Uncle Mo colt should get a nice set up as his stablemates will make sure the pace is hot. (6) LOCKED has done everything right up to this point. This Gun Runner can run all day. The interesting one is the NY Bred (1) THE WINE STEWARD. He gets the cozy rail draw and likely gets position behind the speeds and saves ground. Saez is the best at moving forward to gain position so he can sit chilly and get first run.
$ 7. 00 WPS 1 Cost: $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 1, 10 w/ 1, 6, 9, 10 Cost: $ 18.00
Race 9:
The Euro's may be tough with more experience and better competition. Both of the Wootton Bassett's colts look strong (2) RIVER TIBER and (8) UNQUESTIONABLE are trained by Aidan O/Brien with both Moore and Dettori make them two tough foes.
$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost: $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 2, 8 w/ 2, 7, 8, 9 Cost: $ 18.00
Race 10:
(6) ELECTOR is returning from a long layoff but Irad sticks around for the last one. Nice works for his return. (3) HEJAZI is the one to beat with some high speed figures. (2) GHOST OF MIDNIGHT is two for two so we'll use.
$ 7.00 WIN 6 Cost: $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 2, 6 w/ 2, 3, 6 Cost: $ 12.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3 at the Big A:
Race 8:
Turf racing continues is November at the Big A and we'll take it. The entry looks solid. (1) PUBLIC SECTOR is probably the one they will be betting but (1A) UNANIMOUS CONSENT has a few races that win this. A possible single but I'm not going to let Weaver beat me. His barn has been running well and (3) MAIN EVENT has speed to take them all the way.
$ 7.00 WPS 3 Cost $ 21.00
$ 5.00 Ex 1, 3 w/ 1, 3, 7 Cost $ 20.00
Race 9:
(2) CRUPI has improved as a 3yr old and figures to be a handful today. I would consider a single to lower the wager but he's still only 2 for 10. A must use and likely winner but I'll toss in a savor and use (3) WINTERS LION. He's the only one with a win an this track and the 9F should only help. Some one has to go with Crupi for him to have a shot as he likes to come from far back.
$ 10.00 Ex 2 w/ 3 Cost $ 10.00
$ 5.00 Ex 3 w/ 2 Cost $ 5.00
Race 10:
2 year old State breds end the Aqueduct card going long on the turf. (3) VIN SANTO was motoring late in both of his starts and one of them was against Agate Road who is running out West today in the Juvenile turf. If he can avoid trouble today, he'll be a handful. He's the horse to beat but we won't get this 6:1ML IMO. (4) ERIC FROM MIAMI tried the grass once and finished a nose in front of Vin Santo. The grass will be fine for this guy today. (5) ALBEDO moves to the grass for the first time and has been searching for that surface all along. Today is his day and the 10:1 ML jumps off the page. I'm all in with this guy. I'll include a savor as (7) JHIRSCH took a ton of money in his debut but that race was in the slop but was meant for the turf.
