We have a nice day of racing ahead of us on this Friday in NY and we have the entire card covered. I will be condensing my plays to just include the numbers each race. I will be playing the early double (Races 1 & 2) and a spot pick 3 (Races 4-6). Big Pete will have his full breakdown on his "Play of the Day" and the late pick 3 (Races 7-9). We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 3:
With 7 runners entered, the six trainers have a total of 2 wins among them. Not the strongest NW2L that we have here. Englehart claimed (1A) SWEETER two back and that one improved by leaps and bounds. A tardy start left this one with a lot to do. She managed to get the place that day so with a clean start, she could give the favorite some trouble today.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 7.00 Ex 1 w/ 2, 5 Cost $ 14.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
This Glen Cove looks wide open as I’ll use four in here. (5) INVINCIBLE GAL likes to finish 2nd but her best race came at this 7F distance on this course back in May. The 9F may have been too long last so the cut back seems right. (7) BAY STORM is coming off a strong win in the Christiecat. If she can last another furlong, she’ll be tough. I will lean on (1) ALWAYZ LATE here. Mott switches to Jose after two solid finishes at SAR and KD. Back to back bullets indicate she’s live to me. (8) SPIRIT OF BERMUDA will keep Bay Storm company but she may have a little more stamina than her to hang on for a piece.
$ 7.00 WPS 1 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 1, 5 w/ 1, 5, 7, 8 Cost $18.00
Race 8:
We’ll try to get by with two in here. (4) WHISPERING PINES figures to take the money with this small field as either one of her last two should be good enough. It’s Jose again and they handled Big Sandy ok back in June. She’ll likely stalk and come with her run late. (2) EASY TO BLESS has been on some kind of roll. She’s a neck shy of six in a row. This is her acid test today as she steps up in class. It’s odd that Ramos is named with Irad in the jock’s room playing ping pong. That said, they pick up 8 lbs from the favorite.
$ 10.00 Ex 4 w/ 2, 5 Cost $ 20.00
Race 9:
(12) CHROME DIXIE breaks outside and figures to get a good stalking position down the backstretch. He drops in for a tag which should make him a strong contender today. (5) VODKA LEMONADE wants more ground and the 7F fits nicely. Maker hasn’t been winning a lot but his runners have hit the board. He’s due to heat up and calls on Jose to sweep this late Pick 3. I am all in with (6) BRICCO to Re-Pete his maiden win today. He cuts back to the preferred 7F and Saez returns. He faced strong fields at the Spa and posted high numbers for this level. I’m expecting him to maintain form and run these down late. (3) HORN OF PLENTY also drops to this NW2L level and most times that’s enough to give these runners confidence to compete.
