Monday racing at Belmont and we have you covered for the pick 6 sequence. We will be breaking our plays out with a pair of pick 3 plays. I will be focused on races 4-6 and Big Pete will be locked into races 7-9. We also will have our "Play of the Day" on a race we would like to try and improve the bankroll on. We appreciate you taking a look at this write-up and GOOD LUCK.

Big Pete's $ 1.00 Late Pick 3:

Little Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 1:
I am taking the Ortiz brothers in the first race. I like (1) Flip My ID and (2) Beautiful Banks to both run an impressive debut. I think we can get these two at a relatively nice price and cash in a Ortiz exacta.
$5.00 WPS 1 Cost: $15.00
$3.00 Ex 1,2 w/ 1,2,6,7 Cost: $18.00
Big Pete's "Play of the Day":
Race 2:
All eyes will be on the heavy favorite Extreme Force for Asmussen. Sure, they can win but this has a funny smell to it as they drop several levels after some dull efforts out of town. They try to dress him up for sale by putting Irad up. I have to take a shot against. (4) MATTY’S MARAUDER has shown big improvements from last years races coming off the layoff. His last race was first time against winners but his number stacks up well against this group. There’s plenty of speed signed on so Donk summons Jose to stalk them and come with a run through the stretch.
We’ll use favorite (6) Extreme Force and the other closer (3) Litterbox in our exacta.
$ 7.00 WPS 4 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Exacta Box 3, 4, 6 Cost $ 18.00
We’ll also try to collect on a Daily Double play with Matty’s Marauder and use both of Weaver’s runners (5) Mo Heat and (6) Road To Success in the 3rd
$ 7.00 Double 4 w/ 5, 6 Cost $ 14.00

Race 4:
I love this sequence as I think we can get some decent prices coming in. (5) Flintshire's Rock is going to be my best bet in this race. I think this horse will enjoy the class drop and run better with some more distance. (1) Orb in the Tower is a horse I really like moving to grass and Irad/Pletcher looks poised for a big day at the track. I expect Irad to be sitting right behind the pace with a nice rail position throughout. Then come stretch drive will fan out and shoot for the wire first. (4) Eight Weeks Long is a horse I like to be running his best late. If the surface allows for late runs then I need to include this horse. Last play will be (7) Majestic Sky who I just can't leave off my ticket. This horse has ran the best races on grass of this field and if we get one of those races then this horse could run away with it.
$3.00 WPS 5 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 1,5 w/ 1,4,5,7 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 4,7 w/ 1,4,5,7 Cost: $6.00
Race 5:
I really like the (6) Awesome Indra in this one to run a wire to wire effort. I think the short field will allow this horse to shoot from the gate and find the lead early. I do not love the previous races that the others in this field are coming out of and think this horse could steal it on the lead. I will also include (2) Miss Mi Mi as this horse I think redeems herself from last performance and runs a much improved race this time out. (3) Stunning Munnings gets the class relief and Cancel will be patiently waiting to run horses down late.
$3.00 WPS 6 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex Box 2,3,6 Cost: $12.00
Race 6:
I am all in on Irad aboard (9) Shamrocket in here. This horse has shown the ability to handle a good surface and will be running his best race late. I trust Irad to find the lane and if we get double digit odds on this horse then we will double down. (3) Sadler's Joy is another horse I like in here to be forwardly placed and then Jose Ortiz finding the winning lane late. (5) Moon over Miami is going to run a similar late running race in here and I think that style is the winning one in here. Last play will be the heavy favorite, (6) Gufo, with Rosario stalking the lead and then letting loose late. I want to beat, but this horse looks very good coming into this one.
$3.00 WPS 9 Cost: $9.00
$2.00 Ex 5,9 w/ 3,5,6,9 Cost: $12.00
$1.00 Ex 3,6 w/ 3,5,6,9 Cost: $6.00
Big Pete's Late Pick 3:
Race 7:
Fillies going long on the turf and most will lean on (8) HIGH OPINION who looks to be out for revenge of her last performance as she was a dull 5th as the favorite. Bravo may have been too confident and let them get away with an easy trip up front. Irad gets the call and we’re expecting a better run today. (6) PRAIRE WINGS exits the same race and faded to 6th. She’s wants the lead and I’m guessing Pletcher’s instructions will be to go and lull them to sleep. I’ll lean on (2) SISTER O’TOOLE as the 10F should work out best for her. She always arrives late on the scene and this plodder will maintain her stride when the others will likely be backing up. Clement has two and I prefer the Summer Front (5) COMMUNITY ADJUSTED. She’s bred to run all day but meets winners for the first time.
$ 7.00 WPS 2 Cost $ 21.00
$ 3.00 Ex 2, 8 w/ 2, 5, 6, 8 Cost $ 20.00
Race 8:
I can’t find anything wrong with likely favorite (2) FIRST CAPTAIN. He’s 2 for 2 and sports a quick morning breeze for this. A possible single but if Firenze Fire can get beat at Belmont, so can he. I’ll use defensively but focus on the Brad Cox shipper (5) SNOW HOUSE. He’s shown speed in both dirt starts and carried them the whole way each times. More of the same here as Rosario will be aggressive early and try to catch a breather down the backstretch. He continues to work well in the AM so this feels like a confident move for the connections. The wild card is the Parx shipper (4) RIDIN WITH BIDEN. Reid has him on a two race win streak showing big improvements in each start. He gets the acid test as he moves up to the major leagues today. They put Irad on the mound so they are throwing there ace at them.
$ 7.00 WPS 5 Cost $ 21.00
$ 5.00 Ex 2, 5 w/ 2, 4, 5 Cost $ 20.00
Race 9:
(1) CARTOUCHE drops in for a tag here and switches back to the turf. We don’t see many Servis runners on this circuit so when he ships in it’s usually for a reason. Ward sends out the speedy (7) TRAIN TO ARTEMUS. The long layoff and the slight drop is alarming but speed is dangerous with these NW2L players. If anything, Artemus will help press the favorite, Days Humor, who I’m against and leaving off the ticket. We’ll try to beat all of them with the two closers/stalkers. They were aggressive with (8) PROPER GRAMMER and tried stakes company but she wasn’t ready. Now they find an easier spot as they look to Re-Pete their maiden win. I’ll focus on the Lea runner (6) JADES GELLY. She woke up first time off the claim and looks to be on the improve. She has races last year that would win against this group. Cancel is a nice addition and we’re expected to get this 6:1 ML
